At KHEMistry Catering, I specialize in delivering unique and elevated experiences to customers that cannot be found anywhere else. I have committed our expertise to the betterment of our community. Through a wide range of services and solutions, Erinn, has established KHEMistry Catering as the go-to destination for anyone in search of premier culinary experiences.
When you get comfortable, change is inevitable. After almost ten years in community corrections, Erinn lost her job. In trying to figure out what was next, Erinn was reminded of how she constantly encouraged her clients to make a career out of what they enjoyed doing. She did not “love” her job, but it was comfortable.
Being forced out made her realize she was not living her own life! Erinn reinvented herself by enrolling in culinary school and discovering a talent she never knew she had. In fact, she was pretty good at it! She no longer wanted to operate at the mercy of another employer, so owning her own business, KHEMistry Catering, became the goal. KHEMistry Catering started as a “side hustle” where Erinn pushed sweets, catered meals, and custom cakes. After four years of trying to juggle her business and a full-time food service job, a choice had to be made; her dreams or someone else’s. On December 4, 2020, Erinn decided to leave her food service job and never looked back.
Highlights of her culinary education include serving as President of the Culinary Students Association; traveling to France for a student apprenticeship, and graduating second in her culinary class. Some awesome accomplishments for her business include creating KHEMistry Kids Baking Camp, teaching private baking classes, being featured in SHOWCASE Magazine, and interviewing with four podcasts: Jay’s Joint Podcast, Women Winning Wednesdays, Under Review, and Shooting the Breez.
She has also presented a live demo for Netflix’s Creative Team’s XD Speaker Series and most recently competed in Atlantic City Fashion Week’s Chef’s Choice Taster’s Competition.
Beyond mytasty dishes, the company stands out for its commitment to community development.
